2. A simple sales process

 

The longer your customer has to consider their purchase, the less likely they are to actually go through with it. If you look at your stats you may be surprised to find that over half of the customers that begin the sales process get part way through and then change their minds and leave your site. This is a very common phenomenon online.

 

Some of the ways to make your sales process quick and easy are to make sure all your web pages have a link to the ordering page, make the prices easily available including shipping costs if necessary, and limit the number of steps in the whole process.
